Your Consortium have successfully been awarded the ESF Community Grants 5 Programme 2019-2021 to deliver projects in York and North Yorkshire and are pleased to announce the launch of the 1st round of funding.
ESF Community Grants are part of the European Social Fund (ESF) programme which is distributing small grants in the Humber, East Riding, York and North Yorkshire region. The aim of the fund is to help unemployed people progress towards employment through access to learning and training opportunities. Grants of between £5,000 and up to £20,000 are available. The funding is open to small charities or not‐for‐profit community organisations based in and providing services in York and North Yorkshire. Organisations must employ less than 20 full time and have an annual turnover of £1,000,000 or less, for three consecutive years, and are not in direct receipt of direct funding from the European Social Fund (ESF), Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or Skills Funding Agency (SFA).
There are several changes to this new programme so it is recommended that if you have delivered an ESF Community Grants before that you attend one of the Launch workshops available. This new programme does include progression outputs that are required to be evidenced within 28 days of them occurring so please take advantage of the workshops to gather as much application information as possible.
