Your Consortium are acting as a gateway organisation – managing a partnership offering Kickstart opportunities to young people in the York, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and East Riding.
Kickstart is part of the government’s offer to support young people who are at risk of long-term unemployment as a result of the current social and economic challenges. It provides real job placements for 18-24 year olds currently claiming Universal Credit, to gain experience, skills and confidence.
After a very successful first tranche of partners they are looking for new employers who would like to take part.
